Pedro e o Lobo
Pedro e o Lobo (Rua do Salitre 169, Lisbon) – located at a former art gallery, this restaurant’s chefs have created a menu that has its roots in Portuguese flavors, but explores all aspects of contemporary haute cuisine. Consider grilled octopus salad or apple mayonnaise with island cheese. For the main course, oxtail with mashed sweet potatoes and vanilla is their specialty. Yet you might also choose monkfish with zucchini muffin or seabass with white beans and oysters. For dessert, check out the tarte tatin or chocolate glaze with cardamom ice cream. A tasting menu of seven courses is also available. A wine list of region Portuguese wines completes the meal.
