Metro (train & bus) (Lisbon):  Lisbon’s metro (subway) is modern, clean, and efficient. A single ride on Lisbon’s Metro (and the city’s buses and “Carris” trams) is €1.40  However, there’s a one-day (unlimited ride) ticket for all three public transport options for €6.  Also, one can buy a “Zapping” stored value card, which provides bonus value, the more one pays for the card (say €15 – which provides a €1.15 bonus)
“Lisboa Card” – this is a discount card for tourists.  This card provides free entry on the city’s buses, Metro, and trams, along with discounts at various museums and other tourist sites.  This card is valid for one year after purchase.  Here are the cards available for purchase:  • 24 hours Lisboa Card:  €18.50 • 48 hours Lisboa Card:  €31.50 • 72 hours Lisboa Card:  €39.00
