Alma (Calçada Marquês de Abrantes 92/94, Santos, Lisbon) – this fine restaurant focuses on seafood dishes, such as roasted salmon fillet (with spiced couscous, smoked eggplant and chorizo oil) and fillet of grouper (with clam and pasta broth), as well as meat dishes such as lamb fillet (with hummus, glazed carrots, honey spices, and yoghurt sauce).

The restaurant’s star chef (Henrique Sá Pessoa) earned his reputation at world-class venues such as the Cipriani Restaurant, the famed Park Lane Hotel in London, and the Hotel Sheraton on the Park in Sydney, Australia. The restaurant’s name (“Soul” in Portuguese) lives up to the passion for food that Chef Sá Pessoa expresses daily in his dishes.
